Dillon Nichols began his legal practice in the corporate transactional practice group of Dentons Bingham Greenbaum, a large global law firm, where he received foundational legal training. He engaged in commercial loan transactions, drafted legal opinions (including representation of borrower’s Kentucky subsidiaries in a $2.2 billion transaction) and assisted with purchase and sale transactions for hospitality clients. He then moved to plaintiff side litigation where he represented clients in medical malpractice and employment dispute matters. In 2019, Dillon helped secure a significant jury verdict for his client against the Kentucky Labor Cabinet on a whistleblower lawsuit. After moving to Chicago, he gained additional experience in high level commercial transactions and commercial litigation with two boutique law firms.

From BigLaw to boutiques, Dillon has experienced the range of law firm contexts giving him unique insights into law firm operations and how firms can be optimized. Dillon’s focus now is on enhancing the client experience and the practice of law through technology implementation and process innovation to achieve repeatable, winning strategies. His work with Relias Law Group includes overseeing and managing the firm’s digital transformation and business development strategies.
